Self-Aligning Ball Bearings
Self-aligning ball bearings are used in shaft arrangements where minor housing or shaft misalignment can occur during installation or operation. They are commonly considered for fans, light industrial machinery, agricultural equipment and other applications with moderate loads. The full bearing reference and mounting arrangement should be confirmed before replacement.
Self-aligning capability does not remove the need to check the installation. Excessive misalignment, incorrect fits or unsuitable lubrication can reduce service life. Compare the removed bearing marking with the machine documentation and provide the complete information with the inquiry.
For heavier radial-load and misalignment conditions, review our spherical roller bearings. For standard radial arrangements where alignment is controlled, compare deep groove ball bearings.
It may be considered when a shaft arrangement can experience minor angular misalignment and the operating load falls within the required bearing specification.
Provide the full bearing code, dimensions, equipment application, speed, load information and required quantity.
Send the model and application details through the inquiry page for a sourcing review and quotation.
